Rotate PDF Online

Drag the file onto the upload area or click Select PDF File. The editor shows a thumbnail of every page and the page count.

Click the left/right buttons on a page's thumbnail to rotate just that page, type a range like "1-3, 5" and click Rotate Range for several, or use Rotate All Left / All Right for the whole document. Each click is 90°.

Review the thumbnails. If you turned a page the wrong way, click Undo to step back.

Click Download Rotated PDF to save the permanently rotated file.

Upload the PDF, rotate the pages you need with the per-page buttons, a page range, or the Rotate All buttons, then click Download Rotated PDF. The tool writes the rotation into a new file, so the orientation stays fixed when you reopen, email, or print it — unlike a viewer, which only turns the page on screen.

Most viewers — Chrome, Edge, and the free Adobe Reader — rotate only the on-screen display, not the file, so the change disappears when you close it (saving rotation in Adobe needs the paid Acrobat). This tool rewrites the page orientation into the document itself, so download the rotated file here and the change is permanent.

To rotate a single page, click the left or right rotate button on that page's thumbnail. To rotate several, type them in the Page Range box — for example "1-3, 5" — and click Rotate Range. Only the pages you choose change; the rest of the document stays exactly as it is.

Use Rotate All Left or Rotate All Right in the toolbar. Every page turns 90° in that direction with one click, which is the fastest fix for a document that was scanned sideways or upside down. Click again to keep turning in 90° steps.

Click the same rotate button twice. Each click turns the page 90°, so two clicks in the same direction flips it a full 180° to fix an upside-down page. You can do this on a single thumbnail, on a range, or on the whole document with Rotate All.

Yes. Click Undo in the toolbar to step back through your recent rotations one at a time. There's also a Clear option to remove the file and start fresh. Because you can see every page in the thumbnail grid, it's easy to spot and fix a wrong turn before downloading.

No. Rotating only changes each page's orientation setting — the page content isn't re-rendered or re-compressed, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. The downloaded file is the same document as before, just turned the right way up.

No upload happens. The PDF is read and rotated inside your browser, so the file stays on your device and is never sent to a server. That matters for contracts, statements, and personal scans. Closing the tab clears the file from memory, leaving nothing behind.

Yes. The tool works in any modern browser on iPhone or Android, with no app to install. The thumbnail grid adapts to a touch-friendly layout, so you can rotate pages by tapping. This is handy on Android in particular, which has no built-in rotate-and-save for PDFs.

There's no fixed limit — no paywall and no page cap. The practical limit is your device's memory, since the rotation happens in the browser. Typical documents up to tens of megabytes are instant; a very large, heavily scanned file will process faster on a laptop than on an older phone.
