About This Tool

Welcome to the ultimate Add Seal/Stamp to PDF tool by Randomly.online. Whether you need to officially approve a document with a signature, mark an invoice as "Paid", or add your logo watermark to protect intellectual property, this tool handles it all directly in your browser. Unlike other services that require uploading your sensitive files to a server, our technology processes everything locally on your device. This ensures 100% privacy and lightning-fast performance, even for large PDF files.

Our interface is designed for professionals and casual users alike. With an intuitive visual editor, you can drag, drop, resize, and rotate your stamp to the exact position required. The dual-mode theme ensures a comfortable viewing experience day or night. From legal professionals needing to stamp page numbers or exhibits, to students watermarking their thesis, this tool provides the flexibility of desktop software with the convenience of the web. You can also password protect your PDF after stamping for extra security.

How to Use +

Follow these simple steps to stamp your PDF:

  • Upload PDF: Drag and drop your file into the upload zone or click to select from your device.
  • Select Page: Click a thumbnail on the left (or top on mobile) to select the page you want to edit.
  • Create or Upload Stamp: Use the control panel to generate a custom round text stamp (e.g., "APPROVED", "CONFIDENTIAL") or upload your own PNG/JPG image (like a signature or company logo).
  • Position & Customize: Drag the stamp on the preview to position it. Use the corner handles to resize and the top handle to rotate. Adjust the opacity slider for a watermark effect.
  • Set Range: Choose specific pages (e.g., "1, 3-5") or leave the input empty to apply the stamp to every page in the document.
  • Download: Click "Download Stamped PDF" to save your new file instantly.
Frequently Asked Questions +

Is my document private?

Yes, absolutely. This tool runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript libraries (PDF-lib). Your files are never uploaded to our servers or stored anywhere. Once you close the tab, the data is gone. If you need to verify or change file information, check out our PDF Metadata Editor.

Can I add a stamp to multiple pages at once?

Yes! By default, if you leave the "Pages to Apply" field empty, the stamp will be applied to every single page in the PDF at the exact same position. If you enable "Lock Position Globally", the stamp stays in the same relative spot on every page, even if pages have different sizes. You can also specify ranges like "1-5, 8" to target specific sections. For adding headers or footers instead of stamps, try our Header & Footer Tool.

What image formats are supported for stamps?

We support PNG and JPG formats. For the best results, we recommend using PNG images with transparent backgrounds. This ensures your seal or signature looks natural and doesn't block the text underneath with a white box. If you use the built-in Text Stamp creator, transparency is handled automatically.
