Yes. Drag the Free Angle slider to rotate to any angle from 0 to 360°, with the current degree shown as you go. This is useful for straightening a tilted horizon or setting a deliberate diagonal. Because the image is no longer square to the frame, the corners become transparent — you can trim them with Auto-Crop.

Rotating turns the whole image around its centre. Flipping mirrors it — Flip Horizontal swaps left and right (like a mirror), and Flip Vertical swaps top and bottom. Flipping is handy for correcting a mirrored selfie or creating a reflection; rotating is for changing the orientation. You can combine both.

When you rotate to an angle that isn't a multiple of 90°, the rectangular image no longer fills the rectangular frame, so the corners are left empty (transparent). That's expected. Click "Auto-Crop Transparent Edges" to trim the image down to the largest clean rectangle, or keep them transparent by exporting as PNG or WebP.

JPG can't store transparency, so any transparent corners from an angled rotation are filled with a solid background colour instead of staying see-through. If you want to keep the corners transparent, export as PNG or WebP. If you'd rather not have corners at all, use Auto-Crop first, then export as JPG.

A 90°, 180°, or 270° rotation is lossless — the pixels are just re-oriented. Rotating to an in-between angle re-samples the image slightly, which is normally imperceptible. Exporting as PNG or WebP preserves quality best; JPG re-encodes on save, so keep the quality slider high if you choose JPG.
